Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, September 2025 – Pritiman Panigrahi has taken on the role of Director at CNH, where he now leads Strategic Sourcing across CNH India’s three plants covering Tractors, Construction Equipment, and Agricultural Equipment. In this position, he manages a supplier network of more than 200 vendors and 8,000+ part numbers, overseeing an annual procurement spend of ₹2,400+ crore. Alongside India operations, he also plays a pivotal role in shaping global commodity strategies in partnership with CNH teams across EMEA, NAFTA, APAC, and LATAM, managing 350+ suppliers and 4,000+ part numbers worth ₹5,500+ crore. He is further steering the execution of BCC sourcing for CNH global plants, unlocking a saving potential of over ₹2,000 crore.
Pritiman has been with CNH for more than a decade. Most recently, he served as Senior General Manager, Purchasing, where he led strategic sourcing as India Metallic Commodity Leader, driving the sourcing of 2,000+ new product launches, managing raw material settlements, and ensuring capacity and availability of parts. Prior to that, he was General Manager, Purchasing, where he managed direct material sourcing for the Tractor Plant at Noida and spearheaded mechanical commodity sourcing strategies for engine, drivetrain, transmission, and other key parts across CNH India plants.
Earlier, Pritiman spent nearly five years at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, where he was Deputy General Manager overseeing strategic sourcing of engine, air intake, and exhaust systems worth ₹1,600 crore annually. He also held global responsibilities as Lead Buyer for Gears & Shafts across Daimler Trucks worldwide, handling procurement of $260 million annually, while implementing powertrain localization and emissions compliance strategies in India.
Before Daimler, he worked with Cummins India Inc. as Executive Manager, where he led sourcing of sheet metal, plastics, and proprietary parts worth ₹200 crore, while also delivering cost-efficiency and supply chain excellence projects. His career began with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where over seven years he advanced lean manufacturing, supplier competitiveness, and operational excellence, and TRL Krosaki Refractories, where he handled planning, scheduling, and client demand forecasting at Tata Steel.
Pritiman holds an MBA in Operations & Supply Chain from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, which has provided him with a strong academic foundation to complement his two decades of experience in sourcing, supply chain strategy, and global procurement leadership.
