Probo Strengthens its Leadership Team with Appointment of Shimal Kapoor as Head of Policy

Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2025 – Probo, India’s leading opinion trading platform, has announced the appointment of Shimal Kapoor as its Head of Policy. In this role, Shimal will closely work with government bodies and policy makers, as India defines the policy framework for its emerging skill-based gaming sector. The strategic hire reinforces Probo’s commitment to shaping constructive regulation for this sector as the platform scales to serve over 34 million users.

Shimal brings a breadth of experience spanning Meta, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, World Bank Group, and other reputed organizations. Her expertise in public policy and stakeholder engagement will be instrumental in the evolving skill-based gaming ecosystem and reinforcing Probo’s position as a market leader.

Shimal has spearheaded multiple strategic initiatives throughout her professional journey. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and obtained her law degree from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.
