In his new role, Prosenjit Mukherjee will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on building organizational capability, driving cultural transformation, and aligning talent initiatives with Kalamandir’s growth and expansion plans. With a strong track record in human capital transformation across multiple industries and geographies, his appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to nurturing a future-ready, performance-driven workforce.
Before joining Kalamandir Jewellers Limited, Prosenjit Mukherjee served as Chief Human Resources Officer at SRKay Consulting Group for over six years, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s human capital strategy across India, the UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Philippines. He was instrumental in embedding Workplace 4.0 practices, establishing governance frameworks, and setting up global capability centers across nine countries. Under his leadership, SRKay was recognized as Gujarat’s Best Software Company (2024) and Best Employer Brand (2023), and featured in ET/FT High-Growth and Deloitte Tech Fast 50/500 rankings.
Previously, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Azure Knowledge Corporation for five years, where he scaled the company’s workforce to over 1,500 professionals across India, the U.S., Canada, and China. He institutionalized global HR best practices, achieved Great Place to Work certification, and led HR initiatives that contributed to the company’s inclusion in Deloitte Tech Fast 500 and Inc. 5000 lists.
Earlier in his career, Prosenjit held leadership roles at KocharTech, where he oversaw policy formulation, performance management, and organizational development initiatives, and at Aegis (now Startek India), a part of the Essar Group, where he began as a customer care representative and rose to become Head of Talent Acquisition. Over seven years, he managed large-scale recruitment, engagement programs, and process improvement initiatives that helped secure Great Place to Work certifications for the organization.
A certified HR professional with a Management Development Program in HRD and Learning & Development from XLRI Jamshedpur, Prosenjit has earned multiple honors, including Global Laureate in HR (2025), Topmost HR Tech Leader in India (World HRD Congress, 2022–2024), and Top 100 HR Minds.
