Bangalore, Karnataka, India, September 2025 — Tamilselvan Sankaralingam has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at TTK Prestige Ltd, India’s No.1 kitchen appliance brand. In his new role, he will lead technology-driven product innovation across Prestige’s diverse portfolio, including pressure cookers, non-stick cookware, gas stoves, induction cooktops, mixer grinders, and rapidly growing kitchen electrical appliances.
Tamilselvan joins TTK Prestige after an illustrious 21-year career at Philips, where he held multiple senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Director of Engineering (Sustaining) – Image Guided Therapy (Systems and Devices), managing a global team of over 150 engineers across India, the Netherlands, and the United States. In this role, he worked closely with R&D and supply chain leaders to deliver initiatives on patient safety, business continuity, and sustainability.
Between 2022 and 2024, he was NBX Venture Leader – Consumer Health at Philips, where he spearheaded a women’s health initiative in India, identifying key pain points and building scalable product solutions in collaboration with ecosystem partners. Prior to that, he served as Consumer Marketing Director – Sonicare in Amsterdam, managing a EUR 600 million portfolio of power toothbrushes and driving oral health innovation globally.
His career at Philips also included leadership roles in engineering and product development, showcasing his expertise in systems engineering, value engineering, and product innovation.
Tamilselvan began his professional journey as a Project Engineer at TVS Motor Company, where he contributed to quality systems, productivity improvements, and benchmarking projects. His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Product Development from the National University of Singapore and Eindhoven University of Technology, and an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
