Berlin, Germany, October 2025 — Rachel Haines has been appointed as Chief People Officer at HiveMQ, a leading provider of secure and scalable IoT data streaming solutions. In her new role, Rachel will lead global people and culture initiatives, driving organizational growth, talent strategy, and a high-performance culture to support HiveMQ’s mission of enabling enterprises to unlock the full potential of their data through AI-ready infrastructure.
Prior to this elevation, Rachel served as Vice President, People & Culture at HiveMQ, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning people strategy with business expansion. Her leadership was instrumental in scaling the company’s global workforce and embedding a culture of innovation and agility across teams.
Before joining HiveMQ, Rachel spent nearly eight years with Klarna, where she held multiple leadership positions in HR, culture, and operations. As Director, People, Culture & Operations, she led Klarna’s global people organization through a period of hypergrowth, scaling from 1,000 to over 6,000 employees across Europe. Her earlier roles as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Klarna saw her lead key organizational transformation initiatives, including the design and implementation of Klarna’s operating model.
Earlier in her career, Rachel worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as a Project Manager, contributing to major operational and service delivery programs. She also served as a Consultant at ECS Consulting, where she managed strategic transformation projects for financial clients, and began her professional journey as a Project Analyst at IntelligentComms Ltd, building her foundation in analytics and business operations.
