Gurugram, Haryana, India, November 2025 – Apollo Tyres Ltd, a global leader in tyre manufacturing and mobility solutions, has announced the appointment of Raja Chandna as Divisional Head – Talent & Learning. In his new role, Raja will lead enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, and talent strategy initiatives, aligning Apollo’s people capabilities with its business growth and global expansion objectives.
Before joining Apollo Tyres, Raja Chandna served as Associate Director – Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) at Jubilant Pharmova Limited for nearly three years. He played a key role in driving training strategies, succession planning, and leadership development programs that strengthened organizational agility and capability across diverse business verticals.
Earlier, he worked with KPMG India as Associate Director – Talent Management, where he managed the firm’s Talent Management practice and helped design leadership interventions, learning journeys, and coaching frameworks for senior leaders. His contribution helped organizations navigate transformation and capability-building agendas across industries.
Prior to that, Raja spent over seven years at Right Management, where he progressed through several roles including Program Manager, Project Leader, and Consultant. During his tenure, he successfully delivered large-scale talent management and career transition projects across sectors such as manufacturing, IT, BFSI, and pharmaceuticals. He was instrumental in designing competency frameworks, leading assessment and development centers, and managing executive coaching for senior leaders.
He began his HR journey with Autoliv India Pvt. Ltd., where he played a crucial role in launching the Rudrapur plant, developing HR structures, and implementing performance management systems. His early professional experience also includes assignments at Steel Engineers, Career Launcher, and Hotel Sonia, where he gained hands-on expertise in people operations and leadership development.
Raja Chandna holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Human Resources from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, one of India’s premier business schools. His strong academic foundation in HR and leadership complements his extensive practical experience in learning, development, and organizational growth.
