Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Bandhan AMC Limited has appointed Rajeev Raghu as Head – Business Transformation, where he will lead the Transformation Management Office (TMO) within the CEO’s Office. In his new role, he will spearhead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, operational excellence programs, strategic execution, governance, and business process optimization to support the company’s long-term growth agenda.
Prior to joining Bandhan AMC, Raghu served as Strategy Lead at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, where he headed sales strategy for one of the company’s largest bancassurance partnerships. He was responsible for driving sales and distribution strategy, performance management systems, channel profitability, and strategic initiatives supporting a sales force of nearly 600 professionals.
Earlier, he spent nearly six years with YES BANK, progressing through leadership roles including Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President – Strategy & Transformation. During this period, he played a pivotal role in several enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. As part of the bank’s multi-year profitability transformation programme, he worked on strategic initiatives across liabilities, assets, distribution, fee income, governance, and operational efficiency. He also led major cost optimization initiatives, redesigned expense governance frameworks, strengthened policy automation, digitization, compliance controls, and improved operational effectiveness across the organization.
Before joining YES BANK, Raghu worked as Senior Consultant – Cognizant Business Consulting at Cognizant, where he advised global clients on business transformation initiatives. He successfully led the re-engineering of financial closing processes for a leading global commodity trading company, improving operational efficiency through redesigned business processes.
Earlier, he served as Manager – Product Control at Standard Chartered Scope International, managing global corporate finance reporting, risk-weighted asset management, and process automation initiatives while leading cross-functional finance teams.
He also worked as Manager – Corporate Strategy at Fino Payments Bank, where he contributed to strategic initiatives including the development of the “Bank-in-a-Box” business model designed to support emerging banking institutions, particularly in rural India.
Earlier in his career, Raghu served as Lead Business Analyst at Standard Chartered Scope International, focusing on business intelligence, strategic information management, and enterprise reporting.
