Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, January 2026 – Rajesh Job Joy has stepped into a new global leadership role as Head of Global and Product Support (SA BOS within BCSS) at Ericsson, taking charge of worldwide product and customer support across Ericsson’s critical Business and Operations Support Systems (BOS) portfolio.
In this role, he leads global support for all SA BOS customers, overseeing core domains such as 5G Monetization, Charging, Billing, Mediation, Order Care, Orchestration, and Expert Analytics, which are central to Ericsson’s next-generation digital and 5G ecosystems.
In the period immediately preceding this appointment, Rajesh Job Joy served for nearly three years as Head of Global Support – SA BOS at Ericsson, where he was responsible for global customer support across the Business Support Systems and Operations Support Systems space, strengthening service excellence and delivery reliability for Ericsson customers worldwide within the rapidly expanding 5G environment.
Earlier, he spent over five years as Head of Global Support – BSS Domain (BU DGS) at Ericsson, leading worldwide product support across major BSS verticals including billing, charging, service management, assurance, order care, and order management. His leadership during this phase reinforced BSS as a critical growth engine for Ericsson’s global 5G core strategy.
Prior to this, Rajesh Job Joy held the role of Head of OSS BSS, Global Engineering within Ericsson’s Business Unit IT and Cloud Products, where he led global product support across OSS and BSS portfolios and guided large domain leadership teams responsible for core analytics, charging, mediation, and orchestration platforms.
Earlier in his career, he built deep engineering and delivery expertise through leadership roles at Ericsson, Cisco, Radisys, and Sasken Technologies, spanning global software development, billing and charging platforms, telecom network systems, and large-scale customer solution engineering.
He holds an Executive MBA in General Management and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, strengthening his leadership foundation across technology strategy, global operations, and enterprise governance.
