Delhi, India, October 2025 — Rajiv Thapar has joined Confluent as Senior Director – Partner Business, GSI Partners, bringing with him over three decades of experience across the IT value chain. In this strategic role, he will lead Confluent’s collaborations with Global System Integrators (GSIs), focusing on driving innovation, strengthening alliances, and accelerating the company’s global growth. His deep expertise in partner development, business management, and channel strategy will be key in expanding Confluent’s footprint within the global partner ecosystem and enabling enterprises to unlock the full potential of real-time data streaming.
Prior to joining Confluent, Rajiv served as Senior Director – Global Partner Business (SIs & Consulting Partners) at MongoDB, where he successfully deepened partnerships and expanded the company’s presence across APAC, Japan, and LATAM. His strategic contributions were instrumental in scaling global system integrator engagement and building a high-value partner network that supported MongoDB’s rapid international growth.
Previously, Rajiv held senior leadership roles at Lacework, Oracle, and HCL Infosystems Ltd., leading global and regional teams in alliances, channel strategy, and partner business development. His work across these organizations reflects a distinguished career dedicated to building strong global technology partnerships, fostering collaboration, and driving sustainable revenue growth through strategic alliances.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Rajiv is recognized for his strategic foresight, team-building ability, and outcome-oriented approach.
