Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2024 – Risshi Waddhwa is promoted to Director Talent Acquisition at JLL. Risshi extends his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of his journey, especially Nikhil Malik for his unwavering support and mentorship, which have been instrumental in his success.
Risshi has been an integral part of JLL India since February 2022, where he served as Director, Talent Acquisition (JLL Business Services – Gurugram). In this role, he managed Talent Acquisition Delivery operations for JBS India, spanning 13 stakeholders primarily based in Gurugram for resources at all levels. He played a key role in the on-time delivery of the largest Business Critical Transition with global visibility.
Before joining JLL, Risshi worked at Kyndryl from September 2021 to January 2022 as the Growth Hub Leader. He was responsible for overseeing and driving growth initiatives in the Delhi region. Prior to Kyndryl, he had an extensive tenure at IBM, where he spent over 16 years in various roles. As the Growth Hub Leader from February 2020 to August 2021, he managed growth strategies and initiatives for the Delhi region. As the Program Management Office Manager – GTS NA from June 2016 to January 2020, he was responsible for program management and talent acquisition. Risshi also served as the Deputy Manager – Talent Acquisition and Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition, managing various recruitment and talent acquisition operations.
Risshi’s journey in talent acquisition began as a Lead Recruiter at IBM, where he managed hiring for F&A frontline and Niche BPM profiles. He demonstrated his expertise in recruitment by managing hiring for Frontline BPM resources and handling out-station and campus hiring. His exceptional customer service skills were recognized during his tenure as a Senior Executive – BPM Operations at IBM, where he provided excellent customer service to domestic U.S. air travelers and handled Level-II escalation calls.
Before his corporate career, Risshi gained experience in the hospitality industry. He worked as a Manager – Projects & Market at Sarthak Productions, a start-up media production house. He was responsible for attracting new clients and maintaining existing ones. He also worked as a Manager-Restaurant & Marketing at Ever Bake, where he was responsible for the overall functioning of the restaurant and bakery-cum-confectionery outlet. Earlier in his career, he managed kitchen operations as a Chef – Pot Pourri (Kitchen Supervisor) at Nirula’s Corner House Private Limited.
