Hyderabad, Telangana, India, April 2025 – Rajneesh Sharma has taken over as Head of Human Resources at Pioneer Holiday Resorts Limited, where he will lead the Group Corporate HR function. In this role, he will oversee strategic and operational human resources management across all business verticals, including the luxury hospitality initiative The Leela Hyderabad.
Prior to this appointment, Rajneesh spent more than 22 years at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where he held multiple Director – Human Resources roles across various prestigious properties. Most recently, he was based at The Oberoi, Gurugram, and prior to that, he headed HR at Trident Bandra Kurla Mumbai, Trident Hyderabad, and The Oberoi Bengaluru, demonstrating deep leadership in luxury hospitality HR across India’s key metro markets.
Earlier in his career, Rajneesh was Human Resources Manager at Gillette, responsible for the HR operations of the Gillette India Manufacturing Facility in Bhiwadi. His contributions spanned factory HR, compliance, employee relations, and workforce planning.
He also served in HR leadership roles at Allied Signal LLC, where he was responsible for manpower planning for a greenfield project in India, working closely with teams in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to that, he managed HR for The Coca-Cola Company’s Surat plant, gaining exposure to fast-moving consumer goods and plant-level operations.
In the early years of his journey, Rajneesh held progressively senior HR roles at SRF Limited, Montari Industries, and TCI Group, including responsibilities across corporate HR, manufacturing, and sales HR. He began his career in 1987 at TCI Group, where he led the corporate training and development function.
