In his new role, Balkishan will lead the integrated people and business transformation agenda, aligning HR strategy with operational excellence and long-term growth ambitions. His mandate spans workforce scaling, capability development, performance systems, and transformation initiatives to support Paras Health’s expansion plans, including its vision to grow to 9100+ beds by 2031.

Prior to joining Paras Health, he served for over six years at Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. as Senior Vice President & Head – HR Operations, where he managed HR operations across eight hospitals with a capacity of approximately 2100 beds and a workforce of around 10,000 employees. During his tenure, he oversaw HR systems, manpower planning, performance management, and large-scale healthcare workforce operations for a business with an annual topline of approximately ₹3000 crore.

Earlier, Balkishan held leadership roles at BLK Super Speciality Hospital as Regional Head HR, and at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi as Zonal Head HR, where he managed multi-location HR operations across JCI-accredited and specialty healthcare facilities. His extensive experience also includes senior HR leadership roles at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, and earlier tenure at Paras Healthcare, Gurgaon, where he built and implemented KPI-based performance systems, manpower planning frameworks, statutory compliance mechanisms, and employee engagement initiatives.

With over two decades of progressive HR leadership experience in the healthcare sector, Balkishan brings deep expertise in large-scale HR operations, transformation, compliance, and organizational capability building—strengthening Paras Health’s commitment to compassionate, accessible, and high-quality healthcare delivery.
