Tracy Samassa joins ClubsNSW from Luna Park Sydney, where she served as the General Manager of People and Culture for nearly 2 years. In this role, she focused on employee engagement, culture change, and change management, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Her leadership was pivotal in aligning HR practices with the strategic goals of Luna Park Sydney.

Before Luna Park Sydney, Tracy was the Director of People and Culture at Camilla Australia for over 1.5 years. At Camilla, she spearheaded training strategies, executive coaching, and employee benefits programs, enhancing the overall employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Tracy’s career also includes her role as Director of People and Change – Operations at Sydney Trains. She was responsible for collaborating with executive directors and managing a workforce of 3800 operational and customer-facing employees. Her expertise in labor and employment law, team management, and industrial relations significantly contributed to operational excellence.

Earlier Career Summary:

Tracy has a rich background in HR management, having spent over a decade at Arrium, where she held various senior HR positions, including Manager of People and Culture at Whyalla Steelworks and National Human Resources Manager at Onesteel Metalcentre. She was integral in driving strategic HR initiatives, managing organizational design, and overseeing labor relations and change management.

Prior to Arrium, Tracy was the Human Resources Manager at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and the National Human Resources Manager at Go Lo – retail. She also served as the National Training Manager at The Warehouse Group in Auckland, New Zealand.
