Ahmedabad, India, June 2024 – IBCC Industries – India is pleased to announce the appointment of Hardip Baria as the new Head of Human Resources & Administration. Hardip brings extensive experience in human resources, administration, and strategic leadership, making him a valuable addition to the IBCC team.
Prior to IBCC Industries, Hardip Baria served as Associate Vice President – Human Resources at Gujarat Gas Limited for nearly 12 years. At Gujarat Gas Limited, he played a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth to become India’s largest city gas distribution player. He directed and implemented various strategic initiatives, including change management, mergers & acquisitions, and end-to-end HR processes. He also spearheaded the design and deployment of innovative programs such as leadership development initiatives and succession planning frameworks.
Prior to his tenure at Gujarat Gas Limited, Hardip held the position of Manager – Learning and Development at BG Group (Gujarat Gas Company Limited) for over 3 years. In this role, he directed change management, organizational development, talent management, and performance management initiatives. His efforts empowered middle management, unlocked their potential, and enhanced overall business performance through strategic HR practices.
Hardip’s career also includes significant experience at Essar, where he spent almost 8 years in various roles, including Manager – Human Resources. At Essar, he directed the successful implementation of India’s largest SaaS system, optimized manpower, and conducted comprehensive benchmarking studies on policies and benefits. His initiatives resulted in streamlined operations, improved efficiency, and enhanced employee engagement.
Earlier in his career, Hardip worked as an engineer at Essar and Uttam Galva Steels Ltd., where he handled maintenance, project activities, and operational stabilization in the mechanical department.
IBCC India is fully staffed with professional engineers from diversified engineering fields whose breadth of expertise encompasses forgings, castings, fabrication, and assembly. The company has plants in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Hosur (Tamil Nadu), and Pune (Maharashtra), where they manufacture precision machined steel forgings, iron & steel castings, and other assemblies. IBCC India employs over 100 personnel across its 13-acre operations. The company’s in-house capabilities include MPI, coordinate measurement, ultra-part cleaning, painting, and other special operations. All IBCC factories exemplify 6S and fully implemented APQP processes. They have been audited numerous times by Fortune 1000 OEMs and are certified to the most current ISO and IATF standards.
