Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2026 — Usha International has announced the appointment of Varun Yadav as Head of Marketing – Fans. In his new leadership role, Varun will drive the marketing strategy for one of Usha’s flagship product categories, strengthening brand positioning, product innovation, and consumer engagement. His appointment reflects Usha’s continued focus on enhancing its leadership in the consumer durables market through customer-centric innovation and strategic brand building.
Varun brings over 15 years of experience across product management, category leadership, marketing, sourcing, and business strategy in the consumer durables and home appliances industry. He joins Usha International from Inalsa Home Appliances, where he served as National Head – Category & Sourcing, leading category management and sourcing initiatives to strengthen the company’s product portfolio and supply chain capabilities.
Prior to Inalsa, Varun was Category Head at Orient Electric, where he managed a business with an annual turnover of approximately ₹1,500 crore. He was responsible for end-to-end product strategy, including new product development, pricing, portfolio management, and brand strategy, playing a key role in strengthening the company’s market presence and driving category growth.
Earlier, Varun spent nearly three years with Bajaj Electricals Ltd, serving as Category Head for the Morphy Richards brand and previously as Senior Product Manager, where he led the development and scaling of the NEX brand. During this period, he successfully drove product innovation, portfolio expansion, and strategic brand development across multiple consumer appliance categories.
Before Bajaj Electricals, Varun held the position of Product Marketing Manager at Kohler Co., managing key product categories including shower enclosures, steam generators, and linear drains. He was responsible for product roadmaps, product development, launches, and channel marketing. His earlier career includes more than four years with Panasonic India, where he played a pivotal role in launching the Sanyo brand in India as a Product Manager, overseeing market research, product development, P&L management, and brand strategy. He also gained experience in strategic projects, e-commerce business development, and new business initiatives. Varun began his professional journey with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as an Assistant System Engineer, where he contributed to process automation and technology solutions for global banking clients.
Varun holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Marketing and Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, providing him with a strong foundation in strategic marketing and business analytics. His extensive experience across category management, product innovation, consumer marketing, and business strategy positions him well to lead Usha International’s Fans business into its next phase of growth.
