Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – JSW Motors Limited has announced the appointment of Rakshit Bisaria as Head of Product Planning and Strategy Division, strengthening its leadership team as the JSW Group accelerates its strategic entry into sustainable electric passenger mobility in India. In his new role, Rakshit will lead product strategy, market and consumer research, vehicle portfolio planning and introduction roadmap for JSW Motors’ next-generation electric and intelligent vehicle platforms.
Rakshit joins JSW Motors after a distinguished tenure of over eight years with Hyundai Motor Company, where he most recently served as General Manager & Domain Head – Product Strategy & Research. He led product portfolio strategy for ICE and electric vehicles, market and consumer research, and data-driven decision frameworks guiding product, sales, marketing and service strategies.
Earlier at Hyundai, he also served as Head of Department – Product Strategy and Research, playing a pivotal role in shaping India-specific EV roadmaps, vehicle introduction strategies and consumer-centric product planning.
Prior to Hyundai, Rakshit worked with Tata Motors as Program Manager, leading joint Tata Motors–Jaguar Land Rover chassis development programs. He also served at Tata Technologies as Program Lead, managing advanced chassis engineering projects.
Earlier in his career, he built strong foundations at Maruti Suzuki India Limited as Deputy Manager – Product Planning & Vehicle Integration, and began his professional journey with Mahindra & Mahindra–JBM JV, gaining extensive greenfield manufacturing, quality systems and supply chain planning exposure.
Rakshit Bisaria holds an MBA in Consultancy Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
