Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2025 — Ram Ramachandran has been appointed as Senior Vice President & Head of Specialist Sales at Tech Mahindra, marking a significant leadership shift as the company continues to accelerate customer-centric growth and innovation. In this role, Ram will spearhead strategic initiatives that drive specialized solutions and value-based transformation for clients globally.

With a career spanning over two and a half decades, Ram brings a deep understanding of enterprise technology, global sales strategy, and regional market dynamics. He has spent the last 15+ years at Tech Mahindra, rising through the ranks and leading critical markets. Most recently, he served as SVP & Head for India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA), where he drove cross-regional expansion and deepened partner ecosystems.

Before that, he served as Senior Vice President & Head of Middle East & Africa, based in Dubai, where he led several high-impact digital transformation programs. His earlier role as GM & Head (Enterprise), Middle East and Africa solidified his leadership reputation in the region, having driven scalable IT and consulting engagements.

Earlier in his Tech Mahindra tenure, he led ASEAN sales as VP & Head of Sales, based in Singapore. Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, Ram held key roles at HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems, where he gained extensive exposure to global markets across the U.S., Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia.

Ram began his professional journey at SPIC (Southern Petrochemicals) as an engineer and later as an engineering management trainee, building strong operational foundations that continue to inform his leadership style today.

In his new position, Ram will focus on advancing Tech Mahindra’s specialist sales strategies and solutions across high-growth verticals, further aligning with the company’s long-term digital and sustainable transformation agenda.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
