United States, November 2025 – Humana has announced the appointment of Rama Siva as Senior Vice President & Head of Talent, marking a significant leadership addition as the organization continues strengthening its enterprise-wide people strategy. In her new role, Rama will lead Humana’s strategic talent agenda, focusing on cultivating exceptional leaders, accelerating workforce transformation, and building a modern, high-performing culture that enhances associate and consumer experience across the enterprise.
Rama joins Humana with over two decades of rich HR leadership experience across global organizations and diverse industries. Prior to this appointment, she spent nearly four years at Cognizant, where she played a pivotal role in shaping its global people strategy. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Talent, HR Tech Modernization, People Analytics & HR Operations, leading the talent agenda for a workforce of more than 355,000 employees across 45+ countries.
Her work spanned career architecture, leadership development, succession planning, engagement, HR tech modernization including GenAI initiatives, and global HR operations. Before this, she held the role of Global Head of Talent and HR Leader for Technology & Digital Business, where she also led HR integration for technology acquisitions and supported end-to-end people strategy for 180,000 employees in Cognizant’s largest business unit.
Before joining Cognizant, Rama spent close to four years with U.S. Bank, where she served as Senior Vice President, Head of People Analytics & Workforce Planning, and earlier as Head – Workforce Transformation, Human Capital Strategy & People Analytics, leading enterprise transformation initiatives, organizational design programs, workforce restructuring, and foundational people analytics capabilities during Workday transition. She also led the Agile/Organization Effectiveness practice, supporting large-scale people transformation and building a resilient operating model.
Earlier in her career, she worked across global and regional HR leadership roles, including HR Consultant at Salo LLC, Head of Human Resources, Communication & Corporate Responsibility at AXA Technologies Shared Services, and Vice President Human Resources at Accenture, where she led global employee transitions, HR integration for multiple acquisitions, and managed HR operations for nearly 12,000 employees across India, Philippines, China, and North America. She began her HR leadership journey at Citigroup Global Services as Regional HR Head, supporting over 6,000 employees across South India.
Rama’s academic background includes an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s most respected management institutions. She also completed the prestigious Global Fellow Program at The Wharton School, further strengthening her global leadership capability and strategic outlook.
