Amersfoort, Utrecht, Netherlands, March 2025 – FrieslandCampina has announced the appointment of Ramjeet Kaur Virik as the new Global Director of Marketing & Innovations for its Professional and Trading business group, effective March 1, 2025. In this newly assumed role, Ramjeet will spearhead global marketing and innovation strategies and report to Roger Loo, President of the Professional and Trading business group.
With over 13 years of experience at FrieslandCampina, Ramjeet has held key leadership and commercial roles across Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Most recently, she served as Managing Director at Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (DLMI), where she played a pivotal role in executing the company’s growth strategy in Malaysia and led the strategic relocation of its manufacturing hub from Petaling Jaya to Bandar Enstek.
In her current remit, Ramjeet has relocated to the Netherlands but will continue to oversee operations in Malaysia alongside Corine Tap, President BG Asia, and Kai De Klerk, Finance Director of DLMI, while a successor is identified for her previous role.
Ramjeet began her journey with FrieslandCampina in 2011, where she served as Marketing Manager at Dutch Lady Milk Industries before transitioning to PT. Frisian Flag Indonesia in a similar capacity. She subsequently took on the role of International Marketing Manager in Singapore and was later promoted to Marketing Director for Consumer Dairy in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, where she oversaw regional brand strategy and growth.
In 2021, Ramjeet was appointed Managing Director at DLMI, successfully leading multiple strategic initiatives. Prior to FrieslandCampina, she worked with Guinness Anchor Berhad and British American Tobacco, gaining valuable experience in brand management and channel strategy.
