Bangalore, Karnataka, India, December 2024 – Ranjita Ghosh has been named Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Wipro Limited, succeeding Laura Langdon. This appointment aligns with Wipro’s strategic leadership reshuffle under CEO Srinivas Pallia, emphasizing internal promotions to drive growth and innovation. Ranjita will collaborate closely with Hari Shetty, Chief Strategist and Technology Officer, to enhance Wipro’s global brand presence and marketing strategies.
Ranjita brings nearly two decades of experience at Wipro. Since 2021, she has served as Chief Marketing Officer for Wipro’s Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) region, where she shaped regional brand positioning, spearheaded innovative marketing strategies, and led customer advocacy programs.
Before this, she was the Global Marketing Director for Wipro’s Telecommunications Business Unit and Partner Ecosystem, overseeing strategic marketing initiatives for the telecom sector and Wipro’s 5G offerings. In her earlier role as Global Marketing Director – Innovation and Transformation Ecosystems, she played a pivotal role in branding Wipro HOLMES™, positioning it as a leading AI and automation platform globally.
Ranjita also held leadership roles in analyst relations and competitive intelligence, contributing significantly to Wipro’s global market positioning. Earlier in her career, she managed business development and pre-sales for the utilities sector, delivering value-driven solutions for Wipro’s European markets.
