Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Ratna Joshi has taken on the role of Senior General Manager – Human Resources at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business]. Ratna will be responsible for leading HR for Sales, Customer Care, and Marketing functions of the Auto Division as well as Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd. (MEAL).
Ratna Joshi was previously the Head HR – Commercial (PV, EV business including IB) at Tata Motors for over a year, where she led HR for the Commercial Organisation of the Passenger and Electric vehicle businesses.
Before that, she served as the General Manager – Customer Excellence Academy (CV PV EV IB businesses) at Tata Motors for nearly two years, heading capability building for the Commercial Organisation of CV, PV, EV, and IB businesses.
Ratna also held the position of Head Talent Management at Cipla for nine months, shaping the talent requirements for the future.
Earlier, she spent over ten years at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in various roles, including Head Learning & Development and HR Head – New Businesses Farm Equipment Sector, where she drove strategic capability building and led end-to-end HR deliverables for new ventures.
She began her career at Shoppers Stop and later worked at Reliance Retail and Tata Motors in various HR roles, focusing on talent acquisition, onboarding, and establishing systems and processes.
