Geelong, Victoria, Australia, April 2025 – Rebecca Oakley has joined Cotton On Group as Chief People Officer, bringing with her a wealth of experience in human resources and organisational transformation. In her new role, Rebecca will be responsible for leading the company’s global people strategy, fostering a high-performing and values-driven culture across its workforce of over 20,000 people in 22 countries.
Rebecca’s most recent role was as Chief People Officer at Wesfarmers Health, where she played a critical role in integrating and driving people strategy across newly acquired and existing business units for over two years.
Prior to that, she spent close to four years at Officeworks, holding several senior leadership roles including Executive General Manager – Growth Transformation, Executive General Manager – People & Corporate Affairs, and General Manager – People, where she led transformative programs across culture, talent, and employee experience.

Earlier, she held senior HR leadership roles at Carlton & United Breweries for more than six years. There, she served as People Director – Supply and Logistics APAC and Head of Human Resources – Supply and Corporate, contributing to both regional and local HR strategies during major shifts within the beverage and manufacturing sectors.
Rebecca’s prior experience also includes pivotal HR roles at Wilmar Sugar Australia, Al-Futtaim Group, and Futuris Automotive Interiors Pty Ltd, where she handled international HR strategy, organisational development, M&A support, and large-scale transformation. Her early career saw her managing international development and assignments across multiple global locations, building a strong foundation in cross-cultural HR leadership.
