Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, October 2025 – Airbus, a global pioneer in sustainable aerospace innovation, has appointed Reem Algasim as Head of Human Resources, Saudi Arabia. In this role, Reem will lead the HR function for the Defense and Space Division, overseeing people strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation initiatives to strengthen Airbus’s workforce and culture in the Kingdom.
With an accomplished career spanning more than 15 years across global and regional HR leadership roles, Reem Algasim brings deep expertise in strategic HR, cultural transformation, and talent management. Her professional journey reflects a consistent record of driving organizational excellence across sectors including technology, energy, and aerospace.
Before rejoining Airbus, Reem served as Head of Human Resources at Signify, where she directed the end-to-end people agenda across Saudi Arabia as part of the company’s leadership team. In this role, she was instrumental in embedding a high-performance culture, leading HR transformation initiatives, and serving as the Regional Behavior Champion to drive Signify’s new Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and transformation culture across the Middle East region.
Previously, she held a key leadership role at Schneider Electric, serving as MEA Regional HR Lead for the Secure Power Division. Over nearly five years with the organization, she drove people strategies across six clusters in the Middle East and Africa, managing compensation frameworks, leadership development programs, and workforce planning for regional alignment and growth. Her prior experience as HR Business Partner and DEI Cluster Lead at Schneider Electric highlights her passion for inclusion, talent development, and employee engagement.
In addition to her corporate achievements, Reem has made impactful contributions to academia as a Visiting Academic Lecturer for the MBA Program at Grenoble Ecole de Management, one of Europe’s top 20 business schools. She taught Human Resource Management modules emphasizing evidence-based practices, collaborative learning, and strategic leadership—bridging her global HR expertise with academic excellence.
Earlier in her career, Reem gained international exposure through assignments in Europe and Canada, working with organizations such as Renault Trucks, OVHcloud, Bedard Resources, and Pride Canada Holding Inc., where she developed capabilities in learning and development, recruitment strategy, and HR communications. Notably, she also began her journey in healthcare operations in Montreal, demonstrating her versatile leadership and multicultural adaptability.
Reem’s global HR acumen and multicultural experience uniquely position her to lead Airbus’s Defense and Space Division in Saudi Arabia, where she will continue to drive innovation, inclusion, and organizational growth in alignment with the company’s global vision.
