Joseph Farrell, III, previously the Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer, has ascended to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a new era for the company.
Joseph Farrell III’s journey with Resolve Marine commenced in 2006 as a salvage officer. Over the years, his role expanded through various capacities, including naval architect, project manager, and director of business development, where he spearheaded high-profile salvage projects globally and had oversight of the company’s Alaska and compliance divisions, shared resources, marketing and communications, and Resolve Academy. His academic credentials are impressive, with a B.S. in marine engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, an M.S. in ocean engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Cornell University.
Alongside Joseph’s promotion, Joe Farrell Jr., the founder of Resolve Marine, has been named Chair of the company’s board of directors. Joe Jr.’s new role will allow him to continue focusing on the company’s philanthropic endeavors through the Mission Resolve Foundation, a testament to his ongoing commitment to the organization he established four decades ago.
