With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and stakeholder engagement, Ritesh has played a pivotal role in driving impactful ESG initiatives and aligning the bank’s vision with global best practices.
Ritesh has been with HDFC Bank for over five years, previously serving as Head – Projects, CSR, where he spearheaded social impact programs and sustainability strategies. His leadership was instrumental in integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks into the bank’s operations, ensuring long-term sustainable growth.
Before joining HDFC Bank, he held leadership roles in CSR and sustainability at organizations such as SACH, DLF Limited, ArcelorMittal, Lafarge India, and Tata Steel Rural Development Society, demonstrating his expertise in sustainability reporting, corporate communications, and social impact strategies.
In his new role, Ritesh will oversee HDFC Bank’s ESG strategy, driving initiatives to enhance sustainability, regulatory compliance, and ethical governance while strengthening partnerships for environmental and social impact programs. His extensive experience in integrating ESG into business operations will continue to position HDFC Bank as a leader in responsible banking.
