Rituparna Mandal Joins Synopsys Inc as Vice President of Customer Success Group

Synopsys Inc, a leader in the electronic design automation industry, has officially announced the appointment of Rituparna Mandal as Vice President of the Customer Success Group. Based in India, Mandal is set to play a crucial role in the company’s strategic march towards ambitious goals of growth, scale, and acceleration.

Ashish Bharadwaj, Director of Human Resources at Synopsys Inc, expressed his enthusiasm about Mandal’s joining: “We are excited to welcome Rituparna Mandal as our Vice President in the Customer Success Group! Rituparna will be based in India and play a vital role as we march towards our ambitions of Growth, Scale and Accelerate.”

Mandal brings to Synopsys an illustrious career spanning over two decades in the semiconductor industry, marked by significant contributions to advanced CPU and foundation IP technology. Her tenure at MediaTek as Director of Advanced CPU and Foundation IP technology since July 2015 has seen her spearheading initiatives that have placed MediaTek at the forefront of technological innovation. Additionally, her leadership as General Manager at MEDIATEK BANGALORE PRIVATE LIMITED since September 2018 has further solidified her reputation as a driving force in the industry.

Notably, Mandal’s achievements have garnered widespread recognition, including being named one of the Government of India’s 75 Women in STEAM. In 2022, she also received the IESA’s first Diversity in ESDM award, highlighting her contributions to diversity and inclusion within the electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM) sector.

Before joining Synopsys Inc, Mandal also demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit as the Founder & CEO of Immensa Semiconductors, where she led the company in developing groundbreaking semiconductor technologies. Her extensive tenure at Texas Instruments further underscores her profound expertise and leadership capabilities, having managed platform development for 90nm flash technology node and served as Senior Manager for foundation IP development worldwide.

As Vice President of the Customer Success Group, Mandal is tasked with ensuring that Synopsys Inc continues to deliver unparalleled value and success to its customers worldwide. Her role will involve leveraging her vast experience in technology development, strategic planning, and leadership to enhance customer engagements and outcomes.
