Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 – VerSe Innovation, the parent company behind Dailyhunt and Josh, has announced the appointment of Rohit Sandal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, Rohit will lead the organization’s people strategy across its rapidly growing digital ecosystem, driving talent transformation, leadership development, and culture building to support VerSe Innovation’s next phase of growth and global expansion.
With more than 25 years of experience in human resources and organizational leadership, Rohit Sandal brings a deep understanding of HR transformation, digital culture, and global talent strategy across leading technology and consumer organizations.
Before joining VerSe Innovation, Rohit spent five years at Freshworks, where he most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, he led HR strategy, talent development, and organizational effectiveness during a period of hyper-growth and global expansion. His tenure also included serving as Senior Director – HR, where he was instrumental in building people capabilities that supported Freshworks’ scale-up journey as one of India’s top SaaS success stories.
Prior to that, Rohit served as Director & CHRO at Lenovo India, leading HR for the India operations and serving as HR Partner for the APAC COO organization. During his five-year tenure, he played a key role in strengthening Lenovo’s employer brand, advancing leadership programs, and embedding a culture of innovation and agility.
Earlier, he spent over a decade with Dell Technologies across multiple HR leadership roles, including HR Director and Compensation & Benefits Director. His work focused on driving rewards strategy, performance culture, and organizational efficiency across Dell’s India and APJ operations.
Rohit began his career with Mercer, where he served as Consultant and later Senior Consultant, followed by a stint at Agilent Technologies as C&B Manager, gaining extensive experience in talent analytics, compensation design, and workforce planning.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, and is widely recognized for his strategic HR thinking and ability to align people initiatives with business growth.
