Columbus, Ohio, United States, March 2026 – Rosemary Pitts has joined OhioHealth as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, marking a historic milestone as the first woman to hold this role in the organization’s history. In this position, Pitts will oversee the health system’s financial strategy, operations, and long-term fiscal sustainability as OhioHealth continues to expand its healthcare services across the region.
Prior to joining OhioHealth, Pitts served as Chief Financial Officer at PerkinElmer, where she played a key role in leading the organization’s financial strategy and strengthening its operational performance. Her tenure built on a strong reputation for strategic finance leadership and business transformation within global organizations.
Before PerkinElmer, Pitts was Chief Financial Officer at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, a global leader in hard and super-hard materials used in highly demanding industrial applications. During her time with the company, she helped guide financial strategy for a global organization with operations spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Earlier in her career, Pitts spent more than fourteen years at Cardinal Health, where she held several senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President and CFO of the Medical Segment, Vice President of EMEA Commercial Operations, Vice President, Global Process Owner, Vice President of Finance, and Director of Corporate Finance. During this period, she played a pivotal role in leading financial strategy for major global business segments, supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives, and driving operational growth across international markets.
Pitts began her professional career at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior and later held senior finance leadership roles at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, where she progressed through positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Finance. She holds an MBA from Syracuse University, further strengthening her expertise in financial leadership and strategic management.
