Perth, Western Australia, Australia, January 2026 – Kristy Furchtenicht has been appointed as Head of People at BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd. In this senior leadership role, she will lead the organization’s people strategy, industrial relations framework, workforce capability development and culture transformation across BGC’s vertically integrated construction and building materials operations.
Kristy Furchtenicht brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across construction, manufacturing, utilities and healthcare sectors. She re-joins BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd in an expanded leadership capacity, having previously served as HR Manager and Human Resource Business Partner, where she played a key role in strengthening industrial relations, performance management, workforce planning and employee engagement frameworks.
Earlier in her career, Kristy held senior HR leadership roles at Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers (CSBP Fertilisers), Retirement Care Australia, MercyCare, Perth Zoo, Water Corporation, Western Power, and as Business Owner at MissMeNot Flowers, building strong foundations in culture change, remuneration frameworks, organizational development and large workforce transformation initiatives.
