New Delhi, Delhi, India, August 2025 – Rucchika Chawla has been elevated to the role of Vice President – People & Talent Strategy at Rooter.gg, India’s leading game and esports streaming platform. In her new role, she will be responsible for designing and executing strategic HR initiatives to align talent priorities with Rooter’s fast-paced growth in the gaming and creator commerce ecosystem.
Rucchika has been a foundational pillar at Rooter.gg, where she previously served as Head of HR for over eight years. Her transition from a structured corporate environment into the dynamic world of startups demonstrates her adaptability and vision. She has been instrumental in building agile HR practices, fostering an inclusive culture, and driving talent outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Prior to her journey at Rooter, Rucchika co-founded a lifestyle startup, where she gained hands-on experience in business strategy, digital outreach, product development, and customer segmentation—laying a strong foundation for entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.
Earlier in her career, she held the position of Assistant Brand Manager at Aircel, where she led thematic and tactical communication initiatives, and worked extensively on brand equity and consumer insight–driven marketing strategies.
She began her professional career in advertising with key roles at Leo Burnett and FCB Ulka, where she managed major client portfolios including Perfetti Van Melle, Dabur, and Info Edge, and built strong capabilities in client servicing, account strategy, and integrated marketing.
Rucchika holds an Advanced Programme in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, underscoring her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
