Dhaka, Bangladesh, August 2025 – ACI Godrej Agrovet Private Limited, a leading joint venture between Godrej Agrovet Limited and ACI Limited, Dhaka, has appointed Mr. Ruchir Tiwari as its new Managing Director. With over 24 years of extensive experience in the agri-business sector, Mr. Tiwari is set to drive the company’s next phase of growth and innovation across Bangladesh and South Asia.
In his new role, Mr. Tiwari will spearhead strategic initiatives across sales, marketing, operations, and business transformation. Known for his sharp business acumen, execution excellence, and ability to lead large-scale growth initiatives, he will focus on strengthening ACI Godrej Agrovet’s leadership in the feed and agri-input markets, while expanding its value chain innovation and sustainability-driven portfolio.
Before taking on his new role, Mr. Tiwari served as Senior Director – Sales & Marketing at Jubilant Ingrevia (Jubilant Pharmova Limited), where he managed the Nutrition Health & Solutions vertical with full P&L responsibility. During his six-year tenure, he led commercial strategy, marketing, and operations to deliver strong growth in the animal nutrition business. His digital-first initiatives, strategic partnerships, and market expansion programs resulted in 64% sales growth and a 6% margin increase, while his innovative mobile app solutions enhanced channel productivity and customer engagement.
Prior to Jubilant, Mr. Tiwari was Vice President – Sales & Marketing at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, leading a diverse agri-business portfolio covering biofertilizers, biopesticides, and dairy by-products. His leadership turned two loss-making units into profitable operations and opened new international markets in Africa. He also introduced new dairy and agri-input ventures that expanded Cadila’s market footprint and contributed significantly to topline growth.
Earlier, he served as Operations Head (North & East) at ITC Limited, where he led large-scale agri-operations across India through the company’s pioneering e-Choupal network. His leadership helped scale agri-input distribution, optimize supply chains, and establish ITC’s dominance in rural markets. Under his guidance, the business achieved 23% year-on-year revenue growth, with profitability doubling through operational efficiencies and innovative rural engagement models.
Mr. Tiwari began his professional journey with Godrej Agrovet Limited in 2001, where he drove the national strategy for the agri-input category. During his seven-year tenure, he achieved exponential regional business growth, enhanced channel performance, and introduced data-driven decision-making practices that reduced working capital and improved sales efficiency. His strong foundation at Godrej Agrovet played a pivotal role in shaping his leadership approach and sector expertise.
Mr. Tiwari holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) in Marketing (Agri-Business) from the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune.
