In her new role, Runu will lead enterprise-wide people strategy, organizational culture, leadership capability building, diversity & inclusion, and long-term workforce sustainability for Magic EdTech’s global operations, aligning talent strategy with the organization’s mission of delivering inclusive, ethical, and accessible digital education.
In her current professional chapter, Runu Jain has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer at Magic EdTech, where she is entrusted with shaping a purpose-led, high-performance culture across technology, learning, and impact-driven business lines.
Immediately prior, she served as Senior Director – HR Business Partner at Birlasoft, where she led HR strategy, leadership development, performance frameworks, and talent transformation for large technology delivery teams across India and global markets.
Before Birlasoft, Runu spent nearly a decade with IBM as HR Business Partner – Deputy General Manager, playing a key role in strategic workforce planning, leadership coaching, governance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Her earlier leadership journey includes impactful roles at Genpact, FedEx, Amway India Enterprises, and RPG Enterprises, building deep expertise across HR operations, business partnering, leadership development, and enterprise change management.
Education
Runu Jain holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) – Human Resources from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management, and has also completed executive development programs in labour laws from XLRI Jamshedpur.
