In his new role, he will lead Talent Management, Learning & Organisation Development, and HR Operations, driving strategic initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent while enhancing organizational effectiveness and operational excellence across the HR function.
With over 15 years of diverse professional experience, Saahil Mehta has built an impressive career spanning human resources, talent management, organizational development, business partnerships, marketing, sales, and strategic growth. His appointment reflects SILA’s continued investment in building a high-performing organization through people-centric leadership and innovative HR practices.
Since joining SILA in 2023, Saahil Mehta has demonstrated rapid career progression through a series of leadership roles, including Manager – Human Resources, Assistant General Manager – Human Resources, and Senior General Manager – Human Resources. During this period, he played a pivotal role in strengthening HR operations, talent management, organizational development, and strategic human capital initiatives. As Vice President – Human Resources, he will now spearhead the company’s talent strategy, learning and development agenda, and HR operations to support SILA’s long-term business objectives.
Prior to joining SILA, Saahil Mehta served as a Human Resources Consultant at RBC in Canada, where he gained valuable experience in HR transformation and consulting. Earlier, he held commercial and leadership roles with ChefHero, marcus evans Group, and FC Goa, where he led business growth, partnerships, marketing, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. His diverse professional journey also includes experience with M Premjee & Son Cash and Carry, The Indian Express as a featured football columnist, Mehta Enterprises – Realtors & Consultants, Mercedes-Benz India, Kulin Kumar Holidays, and The Oberoi Group, providing him with a unique blend of business, customer, and people leadership experience.
