Istanbul, Türkiye, February 2026 — Sadık Gençoğlan has started a new position as Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer at getirfinans, taking on a key leadership role to drive strategic growth, partnerships, and corporate development initiatives at the digital banking platform.
Prior to joining getirfinans, Sadık Gençoğlan served as Chief Executive Officer at Doping Technology, where he led organizational growth and strategic execution in Türkiye’s technology ecosystem. Earlier, he co-founded Okuvaryum, scaling a digital children’s reading platform that achieved more than 750,000 downloads and 120,000 users, while designing and executing its go-to-market strategy for rapid adoption.
He previously held the role of Chief Efficiency Officer at Getir, overseeing growth, digital marketing, and operational transformation across European markets. In this capacity, he managed multiple country operations with profit and loss responsibility and led efficiency programs that significantly improved cost structures and unit economics.
Earlier in his career, Sadık Gençoğlan spent over a decade as a Partner at Oliver Wyman Financial Services, advising senior executives at leading European financial institutions on strategy, transformation, and credit management. His expertise in retail banking, digitization, and performance transformation has positioned him as a recognized leader in financial services strategy.
