Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Pidilite Industries Limited has appointed Sahdev Bhatt as Chief of Talent Acquisition, strengthening its leadership bench as the company continues to scale its innovation-driven growth across India and global markets.
In his new role, Sahdev will lead Talent Acquisition for Pidilite, driving hiring strategy, employer branding, campus engagement, and leadership talent pipelines aligned to the company’s long-term business priorities. His appointment signals Pidilite’s focus on building a robust, future-ready talent engine to support its expanding footprint across consumer and specialty chemicals.
Prior to joining Pidilite, Sahdev served as Senior Director & Head Talent Acquisition – SCO at DP World, where he led the Talent Acquisition COE, managing an in-house and RPO team of over 15 members. During his tenure, he reduced hiring turnaround time from 72 days to 42 days while closing more than 450 positions within eight months. He also designed campus hiring strategies, strengthened employer branding initiatives, and launched focused drives to enhance veteran and gender-diverse hiring.
Earlier, as Head Talent Acquisition at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, he led a 40+ member TA team overseeing lateral, leadership, and campus hiring. He worked extensively on a four-pillar approach focused on process efficiency, enhanced selection quality, stakeholder experience, and employer branding. His initiatives reduced talent acquisition costs by 30%, streamlined background verification and offer approval processes, and introduced high-volume recruitment drives closing over 100 positions in a single day.
Sahdev spent over six years at Tata Motors, where he held dual leadership responsibilities across Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering. As Lead Talent Acquisition, he transitioned the organization to an RPO-based model, reduced hiring turnaround time from 64 days to 25 days, implemented competency-based interview guides, strengthened internal job postings, and enhanced employer branding outcomes. As Lead Business Partner HR – Sales & Marketing (CVBU), he drove talent pipelining, performance management, leadership development, and engagement initiatives across the Commercial Vehicle Business Unit.
Earlier in his career at Adani Power Limited, he led leadership hiring for SVP-level roles and above, drove HR analytics initiatives after certification from XLRI Jamshedpur, contributed to organizational restructuring, and played a key role in Adani Power’s participation in the Great Place to Work program. He began his HR journey at Pipavav Shipyard Limited, managing end-to-end recruitment, campus hiring including IITs, large-scale technical hiring drives, and implementing psychometric profiling tools.
Sahdev holds a Full-Time HR qualification and brings over 17 years of diverse experience spanning manufacturing, logistics, energy, automotive, and infrastructure sectors.
