Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 – Sai Chandrashekar has joined Fidelity Investments as Head of Risk, India, marking a significant leadership addition to the firm’s India operations.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Sai shared that he is excited to be part of an organization that combines purpose, scale, and a strong culture of doing what’s right for customers and associates. In his new role, he will oversee risk strategy and governance in India, strengthening resilience frameworks and ensuring alignment with Fidelity’s global risk standards.
Sai brings over two decades of experience across risk, compliance, operational governance, and resilience management. Prior to joining Fidelity, he spent more than six years at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, most recently serving as Director and Head – Risk & Resilience. During his tenure, he also held leadership roles including Vice President & Head – Enterprise Risk Management and Vice President & Head – Operational Risk Management, driving enterprise-wide risk frameworks and strengthening governance capabilities.
Earlier, at Ocwen Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. – APAC, he led Operational Risk Shared Services and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Operations. His foundational risk and compliance expertise was shaped during a nine-year tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, where he held multiple leadership roles across operational risk, compliance advisory, and control room operations. He also held management positions at HSBC and [24]7.ai, building early career expertise in operations, fraud detection, and risk management.
With deep experience spanning enterprise risk, operational resilience, compliance operations, and global banking governance, Sai is well positioned to strengthen Fidelity’s risk oversight as the firm continues to expand its footprint in India.
