Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2025 – Ramya Sampath Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Saint-Gobain Group in India. With over 27 years of rich experience in human resources across diverse sectors including software services, manufacturing, and technology, Ramya is set to lead the organization’s HR strategies, focusing on talent development, organizational transformation, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Her appointment underscores Saint-Gobain’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team to drive sustainable growth and progress.
Before joining Saint-Gobain Group in India, she served as Chief People Officer at GreyOrange for over three years, where she spearheaded organizational design transformations, implemented advanced HR technologies, and significantly enhanced employee satisfaction.
Prior to GreyOrange, Ramya held the position of Chief People Officer at Microland Limited, where she increased employee satisfaction, reduced attrition, and successfully onboarded over 1,000 employees remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her tenure at Accenture as Managing Director, Human Resources and Talent Strategy saw her facilitating exponential growth in business-critical skills and introducing AI-driven HR solutions.
Ramya spent over 14 years at Intel Corporation, where she held various leadership roles including HR Director – Asia Pacific and Japan, Head of Talent Acquisition – Greater Asia Region, and Innovation Strategist – Global HR Innovation Lab. During her time at Intel, she transformed HR into a strategic business partner, led regional transformation programs, and implemented innovative talent acquisition strategies. Earlier in her career, she held senior HR roles at Concinnity, Unimobile, and Novell.
