Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2025 – Rashmi Soni, has been appointed as Vice President (VP) and Head of Communications at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd). With over two decades of expertise in strategic communication and brand management, Rashmi is poised to lead IndiGo’s communication strategies and enhance its reputation as India’s largest passenger airline. Her appointment highlights IndiGo’s commitment to fostering impactful communication and engagement with stakeholders as it continues to expand its presence domestically and internationally.
IndiGo welcomed Rashmi Soni as its Vice President and Head of Communications in January 2025, where she will oversee corporate communications strategies and brand management initiatives. Prior to this, she served as Chief Brand and Communications Officer at PayU, where she implemented innovative communication strategies and enhanced brand equity during her one-year tenure.
Before joining PayU, Rashmi spent nearly a decade at Vistara – TATA SIA Airlines Limited as VP & Head of Corporate Communications, where she was a founding member of the airline’s pioneering team. Her leadership in brand communication, public relations, and corporate social responsibility positioned Vistara as India’s most loved and globally recognized airline.
Earlier, she held significant roles at Tata Teleservices Ltd as Additional Vice President – Employee Communications, and Ericsson as General Manager & Head – Internal Communications, Media & Analyst Relations, where she led transformative communication initiatives across diverse geographies. Her career also includes impactful stints at Adobe Systems, TeleTech Services India, Aricent, and Hughes, where she honed her expertise in corporate communications, branding, and employee engagement.
