New Delhi, India, March 2026 – Ajanta Soya Limited has appointed Saju Mathew as Vice President – Operations, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to scale its manufacturing excellence and operational capabilities in the edible oil and food processing industry.
In this role, Saju will oversee end-to-end operations, driving efficiency, capacity optimization, and process excellence across manufacturing units while supporting the company’s growth and innovation agenda.
Most recently, Saju served as General Manager – Projects at GreenJoules Pvt. Ltd., where he led project execution initiatives, focusing on plant development and operational optimization within the energy and industrial ecosystem.
Prior to this, he spent over five years with Godrej Agrovet Limited as General Manager – Production, managing large-scale oil palm operations across multiple factories. He was responsible for end-to-end plant operations, including refinery, fractionation, solvent extraction plants, and cogeneration systems, while driving continuous improvement, safety standards, and P&L performance.
Earlier, Saju held leadership roles at Cargill, where he contributed significantly to process improvements, yield enhancement, and productivity gains across specialty fats and refining operations, delivering measurable efficiency improvements and cost optimization.
He also gained extensive experience at Ruchi Soya, Bunge, and Hindustan Unilever Limited, where he built a strong foundation in manufacturing excellence, automation projects, quality systems, and large-scale production management in the edible oil and specialty fats domain.
