Kolkata/Jamshedpur, INDIA – Sakti Prasad Senapati has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Ramkrishna Forgings Limited. This promotion comes after eight years of progressive responsibility within the company, where he most recently held the role of Chief People Officer. His new role as COO marks a significant step in his extensive career spanning over two decades in human resources and operations management.
Senapati’s journey at Ramkrishna Forgings began in June 2010 when he joined as Vice President of Corporate HR, where he was instrumental in formulating HR strategies, talent development, and implementing a comprehensive talent management system. He then ascended to the role of Chief People Officer in April 2016, a position he has excelled in for the last eight years, leading the company’s strategic HR initiatives and playing a crucial role in its operational leadership.
Before his tenure at Ramkrishna Forgings, Senapati served as Vice President of HR at NRB Bearings Ltd., where he led the entire gamut of corporate HR for the group. His earlier roles include significant positions at Metalsa India Pvt. Limited as Human Development Head for Asia Operations, where he established foundational HR strategies and compliance frameworks.
