Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, September 2025 – Think Beyond has announced the appointment of Sam Child as Head of Talent and Partnerships. In his new role, Sam will lead recruitment, resource management, and the Salesforce Alliance strategy, playing a key role in shaping talent pipelines and strategic partnerships to support the company’s growth and innovation agenda.
Sam most recently spent more than four years at Aurec as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, where he partnered with hiring managers and talent acquisition teams to deliver end-to-end hiring solutions. He specialized in ICT consulting and professional services, building long-term client partnerships and leveraging recruitment technology and AI advancements to strengthen hiring processes.
Before this, Sam worked at LoopUp for nearly five years, where he began in London and later relocated to Sydney to help introduce the company’s SaaS-based external communications solutions to the Australian market. As Senior Executive, Account Management (APAC), he honed his expertise in market mapping, client engagement, and 360 sales and account management.
Earlier in his career, Sam was part of The Open University as a Student Recruitment professional, where he focused on outreach and student engagement. He also gained valuable early experience through a Management Trainee placement at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he built foundational skills in business operations and client services.
