New York City, United States, September 2025 — Samantha Koch has been appointed as Vice President Human Resources at Epicured, where she will lead the company’s talent strategy, people operations, and HR innovation. In this role, she will oversee workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, and integration of emerging HR technologies to support Epicured’s mission of advancing food-as-medicine healthcare solutions.
Koch brings diverse HR experience across healthcare, technology, and consulting. Prior to joining Epicured, she was HR Business Partner at Gunner, where she supported organizational growth and transformation. Her responsibilities spanned compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and leveraging generative AI to modernize HR operations.
Earlier, she worked with Forter as an HR contractor, strengthening HR operations and internal mobility initiatives. She also contributed at BlueLabs as HR Project Manager, where she drove HR systems, onboarding, employee learning and development, and talent management.
Before transitioning to project-based and consulting assignments, Koch served as Senior Technical Recruiter at Twill by Dario (formerly Happify Health), where she recruited for digital therapeutics and healthcare technology talent, helping the company scale in the mental health and wellness space. She also worked as Clinical Recruiter at Aerotek, connecting talent with healthcare opportunities, and as Sales & Recruiting Associate at Mission Staffing with a focus on financial services.
Her early career included internships and project roles with Robert Walters, Yarcort, Josh Gottheimer for Congress, Ruffalo Noel Levitz, and the Affordable Art Fair, where she gained a foundation in recruiting, HR operations, and stakeholder engagement. These formative experiences helped her develop a people-first approach and an ability to blend traditional HR practices with forward-looking innovation.
At Epicured, Koch will focus on strengthening talent acquisition, embedding data-driven HR practices, and building an inclusive, high-performance culture. Her background in leveraging generative AI tools for HR is expected to add a strategic edge as the company scales its food-as-medicine healthcare platform across the United States.
