Planet42, Gauteng, South Africa, January 2026 — Samantha Speedy Knowles has started a new role as Head of Sales at Businesspod, where she will be responsible for driving sales strategy, strengthening partner and client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence across its operating regions.
Samantha Speedy Knowles brings with her close to seven years of progressive leadership at Planet42, where she most recently served for nearly three years as Head of Sales. In this role, she led sales growth initiatives, strengthened commercial performance, and guided multi-layered sales and support teams. Prior to this, she spent over a year as Team Lead – Sales and Sales Support, and earlier served in roles spanning Projects and Operations Coordinator and Account Manager, building a strong foundation in operations, account leadership, and cross-functional coordination.
Before Planet42, she worked with Centrafin as External Account Executive, where she developed strong client engagement capabilities and revenue-focused sales execution skills. Her earlier entrepreneurial exposure includes serving as Director at Rebel Prints South Africa (PTY) Ltd, where she led a start-up digital printing business, strengthening her understanding of small-business operations, customer acquisition, and growth strategy.
Samantha also gained extensive corporate exposure at Nestlé South Africa, where she worked as Executive Assistant to the CFO and Company Secretary, managing strategic administrative operations, board coordination, and executive stakeholder engagement. She began her career across Optimum Asset Finance and Engel & Völkers Centurion, where she built strong competencies in financial consulting, property sales, negotiation, and client advisory — shaping her into a commercially astute sales leader.
