Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, March 2026 — Samar Gupta has started a new position as Group CIO at Spark Minda. Based in Noida in an on-site capacity, he has taken on the mandate of bringing the value of information technology to support business growth and transformation, while shaping short- and long-term IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
In this role, Samar Gupta is focused on building the IT function into an industry benchmark and contributing to a data-driven decision system and culture across the Spark Minda Group, alongside executing strategic initiatives to strengthen technology-led transformation.
Prior to joining Spark Minda, he served at Anand Group India as Vice President and Head – Group IT, based in New Delhi, leading group IT priorities across a diverse set of companies within the group.
Earlier, he worked with Stryker as Head of IT Infra, SAP Basis, application performance and Security at the Global Technology Center in Gurugram. He previously served as Global Head of IT Infrastructure and Security at Actis, based in New Delhi, and before that worked with Microsoft as Service Delivery Manager and Operations Consultant (TAM) in Gurugram.
Earlier in his career, Samar Gupta worked with Wipro as Technical Lead for Microsoft, IDM, SSO, and served as Sr. Systems Engineer for IT Infrastructure at Capgemini. He began his early leadership journey at Concentrix as Team Leader Datacenter in Gurugram.
