Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Sanchayan Paul has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Network18 Media & Investments Limited. With extensive experience in HR leadership, Sanchayan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role, aiming to drive impactful HR strategies and initiatives.
Sanchayan Paul joins Network18 Media & Investments Limited with a strong background in HR leadership across various industries. At Network18, he will focus on enhancing HR practices and building a strong organizational culture.
Prior to this, Sanchayan was the CHRO for Modenik Lifestyle, a post-merger entity formed by the integration of Dixcy Textiles Private Limited and Gokaldas Intimatewear Pvt. Ltd., both owned by Advent International. He successfully led the people and cultural merger of the two organizations, overseeing a workforce of over 5000 employees across various functions.
Sanchayan also founded KaryaMitr, a vernacular tech platform aimed at skilling, assessing, and hiring blue and grey-collared workers. His vision was to improve the livelihood of millions of workers by connecting them with employers across India.
Before founding KaryaMitr, Sanchayan spent over 12 years at Vodafone, where he held various leadership roles including Head of Rewards, Organization Effectiveness & Change. He played a key role in the integration of Vodafone and Idea Cellular, creating India’s largest telecommunications company at the time.
Sanchayan’s career also includes significant stints at Thomson Reuters and Reliance Industries Limited, where he gained valuable experience in HR operations, talent management, and organizational development.
