New York City Metropolitan Area,January 2026 — Sandeep Lalit, CFA has started a new position as Head of Business Development at Keenova, marking a significant leadership addition as the organization continues to advance its purpose-driven therapeutics agenda. In this role, Lalit brings decades of experience across global business development, corporate development, and commercial leadership within healthcare and financial services.
Prior to joining Keenova, Sandeep Lalit, CFA served at Bausch + Lomb for nearly nine years, most recently as Vice President, Business Development. During this period, he led global business development activities spanning Pharmaceuticals, MedTech, OTC Products, and Contact Lenses. His work involved closing a wide range of transactions, including licensing agreements, equity investments, co-promotes, acquisitions, and divestitures, contributing to meaningful business expansion and market penetration through strategic partnerships.
Before this, he was associated with Bausch Health Companies Inc., where he held the role of Executive Director, Neurology and Orphan Portfolio. In this capacity, Lalit led marketing and sales operations with full P&L responsibility for a portfolio of mature brands. His leadership included directing sales and marketing efforts, overseeing lifecycle management strategies, and supporting authorized generic launches for brands facing patent cliffs, with portfolio revenues peaking at over $1.4 billion annually.
Earlier in his career, Sandeep Lalit, CFA spent close to five years with Bausch & Lomb as Director – Corporate Development. His responsibilities included building long-term financial projections, enterprise valuations, and discounted cash flow models across pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He played an active role in M&A and licensing transactions, industry analysis, and deal negotiations, gaining deep exposure to corporate strategy and transaction execution.
His professional journey also includes leadership roles in financial services, including positions at HSBC, Reliance Capital Asset Management, and NatWest Offshore. Across these roles, Lalit managed high-value client portfolios, led sales and distribution strategies, and worked closely on investment analysis and structured financial products, building a strong foundation in capital markets and client advisory.
