Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 – Sandhya Ramesh has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at Mastech Digital, marking a significant milestone in the company’s leadership evolution. With over two decades of experience across some of the world’s leading technology organizations, she brings deep expertise in strategic HR leadership, organizational transformation, talent effectiveness, and building high-performance, people-centric workplaces. In her new mandate, she will drive global people strategy, leadership development, talent transformation, and culture evolution across Mastech Digital’s international footprint.
Sandhya most recently served as Senior Director – HR at Aptiv, where she strengthened people practices, enhanced talent effectiveness, and enabled capability-building across a fast-scaling engineering and product ecosystem. Her leadership at Aptiv was marked by a focus on organizational agility, capability transformation, and driving HR initiatives aligned with the company’s global technology roadmap.
Before Aptiv, she served as Senior Director – HR at Walmart Global Tech India, where she led large-scale HR interventions to boost workforce agility, strengthen leadership development pipelines, and enhance employee experience across the organization. Her contributions supported Walmart’s continued evolution into a high-performance, AI-driven global technology powerhouse.
Sandhya spent over eight years at Cognizant, where she served as Director – Human Resources, leading HR for a major business unit. She championed organizational excellence, employee engagement, change management, and talent strategies designed to support global delivery, large team structures, and rapid technology expansion.
Her earlier professional journey includes leadership roles at HCLTech, where she managed HR operations and strategy for a 2,600-member micro-vertical, and at Polaris Software Labs, where she built foundational skills in HR consulting, employee relations, and people operations. These formative experiences shaped her strong capability in HR transformation, talent strategy, and building scalable people systems.
Sandhya holds a Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Business Administration and Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, further strengthening her academic foundation in strategic HR and organizational leadership.
