Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Capgemini has announced the appointment of Sanjay Chalke as its new Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he will also join the Capgemini Group Executive Committee, marking a significant leadership transition at the global business and technology transformation leader.
Sanjay has been with Capgemini for over nine years, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Capgemini India, where he led the talent supply chain, future talent programs, cybersecurity, business continuity, and quality assurance initiatives. His leadership focused on enhancing operational efficiency, fostering synergies across business units, and building resilient delivery capabilities.
Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President and Head of Sogeti India, driving business growth and P&L management. Earlier, as Global Head of Automation, AI & Analytics, Sanjay championed intelligent automation, cognitive technologies, and advanced analytics capabilities, laying the foundation for Capgemini’s innovation-led service model.
Before joining Capgemini, Sanjay built an extensive career at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where he served as Global Head of SAP Application Business, managing a $185M+ portfolio with a 2,200-member global team. He also held senior leadership roles as SAP Delivery Head for the Americas and Head of the CTO Office for a global technology leader, where he drove innovation, digital transformation, and joint go-to-market strategies.
His earlier leadership journey included impactful roles at Covansys and Siemens, where he developed expertise in enterprise applications, HR systems, and business transformation. With a strong track record across global technology organizations, Sanjay is well-positioned to lead Capgemini into its next phase of growth, with a sharp focus on digital innovation, enterprise transformation, and sustainable business outcomes.
