Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, November 2025 — LG India has announced the elevation of Sanjay Chitkara to Co-Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, a major milestone in his distinguished 26+ year journey with the organization. Over more than two and a half decades, Sanjay has been an integral part of LG India’s growth story—playing a pivotal role in establishing the company’s market leadership across home appliances, air conditioners, and consumer electronics.
Throughout his tenure, Sanjay has led large-scale sales operations, product planning, marketing, and customer service, consistently steering LG toward innovation, distribution excellence, and brand leadership. His strategic vision and market insight have been instrumental in driving consumer engagement, strengthening channel ecosystems, and contributing significantly to LG India’s landmark IPO journey.
Before this elevation, Sanjay served as Chief Sales Officer, where he led a nationwide team of 500+ professionals, managing regional and zonal heads, product trainers, and marketing managers across North and East India. His leadership was marked by a focus on channel optimization, profitable growth, and team development, ensuring LG’s sustained dominance in India’s consumer durables sector.
Prior to joining LG India in 1999, Sanjay built a strong foundation in sales and marketing during his early career at Videocon Consumer Durables as Sales Manager and at Fedders Lloyd Corporation Limited as Sales Engineer. His early exposure to market operations and product distribution helped shape his pragmatic leadership style and business foresight.
An alumnus of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, where he earned his PGDBA in Marketing, Sanjay combines analytical precision with a deep understanding of market behavior. In his new role, he will co-lead LG’s nationwide sales and marketing operations, driving innovation, digital transformation, and customer-centric strategies to reinforce LG’s leadership position in India’s highly competitive consumer electronics landscape.
