Pennsylvania, United States, July 2024 – Sara Long has taken on the role of Vice President, Global HR Strategy & Enablement at Iron Mountain. In this position, Sara will lead the Global HR Strategy & Enablement function, driving HR excellence and elevating the employee experience by designing and implementing innovative HR strategies and solutions.
Sara Long has been with Iron Mountain for twelve years, most recently serving as the Senior Director, Head of Global HR Portfolio. In this role, she was accountable for driving continuous improvement, facilitating project prioritization and execution, aligning resources, and managing the global HR budget and HR calendar. Sara ensured HR organizational success in complex business situations such as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
Before that, Sara served as the Director, HRConnect Operations and Process (HR Shared Services), where she led a shared services HR Operations team based in North America and Bangalore, India. She successfully transitioned HR operational work from a North America-based model to a globally-based model in Bangalore, resulting in cost savings and a stronger operational support model.
Earlier in her career at Iron Mountain, Sara held the position of Manager, HRConnect Operations (Shared Services), where she managed the HR Operations component of several large, simultaneous employee transition activities, including a 300+ employee acquisition and a reorganization impacting over 700 employees.
Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Sara was a Solutions Manager at TrustFlow Digital Solutions (Acquired by Docufree), where she oversaw the improvement and growth of client relationships in the insurance and financial services industries. She also served as the Director, Operational Business Process, developing high-performing work teams and improving operating efficiency by 15%.
Sara’s career also includes experience as the Director, HR Operations & Employee Engagement at TrustFlow Digital Solutions, where she successfully project managed the acquisition of an 80-employee processing center in Barbados and implemented an engagement strategy to elevate employee morale.
Earlier in her career, Sara was an HR Specialist, HR Manager at The Morning Call, where she improved corporate HR operating costs by consolidating and standardizing HR processes and led a company-wide transformative change effort resulting in eight straight quarters of increased operating profits.
